That’s How We Roll makes race day return

Impressive last start winner, That’s How We Roll (pictured), will be making his race day return at Te Rapa tomorrow, his first public appearance since winning on the same course back in early September.

The lightly tried son of Pentire has only had ten race day career starts, which include two victories and two placings.

The five-year-old gelding has only been hitting his straps over recent times and looks a very promising stayer in the making following his impressive last two performances, before going for a spell.

“He feels great this time in and appears to be a lot more mature mentally,” co-trainer Chad Ormsby said.

That’s How We Roll will be racing in the Rating 75 event over 1600m and comes up against a strong field of gallopers.

Fellow talented stable mate, She’s Samashing, will also be lining up in the mile event and she too comes in to the race after a small freshen up.

“We think she wants to go further, so this preparation she will go over more ground,” said Ormsby.

“On her day she is one of the most talented horses going around, and she has shown that.”

Ballymore’s third runner on the card, Daifuku, will be running in the maiden three-year-old event and she has been running honest races to date, and a win looms near.

“Her only two runs at Te Rapa have been very strong and if she can produce a similar performance she will be right in the money,” said Ormsby.

Group 2 Wellington Cup winner Graphic will also be making an appearance as he prepares for his next race day start – the Group 1 Zabeel Classic on Boxing Day – with a gallop between races one and two.
