Mr Baritone Sydney bound

Pulling up well from a luckless run in last Saturday's Liston Stakes at Caulfield, the evergreen Mr Baritone headed to Sydney on Thursday evening.
The $150,000 Gr.2 Warwick Stakes at Randwick on Saturday is his mission and Michael Moroney is confident of a bold showing from the reliable chestnut.
"He is a great traveller," he said, "and he always races well when he travels" - pointing to his very good Sydney record.
Unlucky when finishing on the heels of the placegetters in the Gr.1 All-Aged Stakes in April, Mr Baritone won at Randwick as a younger horse - saluting by 5.5 lengths over 1400m in July 2006.
"He should prove hard to beat at weight-for-age," said Moroney whose only concern is the prospect of a firmish track.
A busy Sunday for the stable with four runners at Seymour. We kick off early with Youbolt resuming in the opening event, a 1000m maiden.
"He showed enough ability at two," said Moroney, "and he has drawn nicely. We have him well forward for his first run since the summer."

A well related son of Exceed And Excel, Youbolt - a 3/4 brother to the unbeaten speed machine Amelia's Dream - was close up at each of his first three runs at two, measuring up in city grade.
Hiphopopotamus is also down to resume, his first Australian run full of merit. There are however a few options for him and he may be saved for Monday.
The feature event on the Seymour programme is an Inglis bonus race which sees two stable members - Toluka and Sophrosyne racing for excellent prizemoney.
"Both horses have drawn nicely (Toluka 1 and Sophrosyne 2) and they should both prove competitive," Moroney said.
"They have both being going nicely and Toluka has had blinkers added. He worked very well in them."
A son of General Nediym with a strong finish, Toluka was just behind the placegetters in town last time and another win is not far away. Sophrosyne meanwhile broke his maiden in impressive style at Cranbourne last time out and is highly regarded.
