Co-trainer Pam Gerard said: “Dragon Biscuit strikes wetter ground (Soft7) than he prefers, but he does love racing on the home course. Otherwise, we are really happy with his condition.”

“Skipping raced well here on debut for fourth and she has a nice draw (3). She has done well since her first start, still learning the ring craft but has ability and capable of good performance.”

“Bubalina races on her home track and wanting our apprentice to be a bit more positive. She looks very fit for her and hopefully goes a good race.”

“Mineshaft will probably be ridden a little bit colder than last time, working well and we are looking forward to getting him out. The Soft7 track conditions should agree with him.” Pictured

“Why Not Me has made the field off the ballot and for a change got a good gate (3). She continues to work really well, can’t fault her, and hopefully see further improvement on a brave run last time.”

“Step In Time is creeping up in distance to a mile and then preparing for 2000 metres. He should handle give in the ground and we expect a good effort from barrier one.”
