WINNING CHANCES FOR US AT GEELONG TODAY

A trio of Sunday runners at Geelong for us with The Admiral, Kaituku and Bank Bank Bank heading to the races.

The Admiral is the first to go in race one, the Maiden Plate over 1412 metres under Jye McNeil and jumping from the inside barrier.

“It’s his first start after a break and the soft going today should not be an issue,” Moroney said.

“Looking at the race I’m not sure there is that much speed in it so he could easily take advantage of the draw.

“He’s done enough work to be competitive and I’m expecting him to run well.”

Bank Bank Bank debuts in race four, the Maiden Plate over 1212 metres with Jordan Childs in the saddle and jumping from barrier five after scratchings.

“We’re very happy with him - he’s always shown us natural ability and his recent work has been good,” Moroney said.

“On form Golden Monkey looks the one to beat in what looks a strong maiden. I’d anticipate our horse being close to the speed and I’m looking forward to getting him to the races.”

Last start winner Kaituku (pictured) is in race six, the benchmark 64 handicap over 1715 metres with Jordan Childs again aboard.

“He’s pleased me since his last start and he’s up in class,” Moroney said.

“Ideally he’ll be on pace as it looks like there is some speed in the race. The give in the track will suit all things being equal I think he’ll be hard to beat.”
