Two runners at Sandown

The stable saddles up two major chances at Sandown on Wednesday and we hope to cheer home a running double.
In the fifth race, the Betfair Handicap over 1800m, Redondo Beach looks nicely placed having shown improvement at his last couple of starts.
"He is returning to form," Michael Moroney said. "There is some question mark over him at Sandown but he is going well and it looks a suitable race."
Mark Zahra takes the ride on the six-year-old half brother to El Segundo and he is nicely drawn in barrier 8. In the following event, the Princess Veronica Handicap - also over 1800m, Kyllaros is expected to improve on her last run.
"It poured just before her race," Moroney explained, "and it was very wet. This race is not as strong and she has drawn better this time." Suited over an extra 200m, Kyllaros - who races in the famous blue, red and white colours of Tony Santic - drew an outside gate last time but this time has barrier one and the services of Glen Boss.
At Seymour on Thursday the regally bred Unbendable will debut in the fourth race, the Winning Post Restaurant Maiden Plate. He has drawn the outside barrier and may find the 1309m too short but Moroney is confident that he has a nice future.
"He is a staying type of horse but this is a good starting point for him." A $145,000 Melbourne Premier Sale graduate, Unbendable is by Refuse To Bend out of the Queensland Oaks heroine Miss Danehill from the prolific Denise's Joy family.
Looking back on last weekend and the stable could not be happier with the run of Melbourne Cup candidate Tinseltown first up over 1400m. He really caught the eye over the final stages, finishing on strongly for a 2.4 length fifth behind all-the-way winner Jungle Ruler.
And we are looking forward to next weekend with Tootsie contesting the Gr.3 Let's Elope Stkaes at Flemington.
