Rhythm To Spare sitting on Hatrick run

Ballymore’s super tough miler, Rhythm To Spare (pictured), is hoping for another winning performance in Saturday’s Group 2 Inglis Villiers Stakes over 1600m which will make three consecutive victories for the son of Pins.

An impressive winner of the Listed Kilmore Cup at his last outing, Rhythm To Spare faces a strong field at Flemington and will have the services of Christian Reith in the saddle.

“He's travelled to Sydney well, and he's in very good order for a horse who has had some racing." said trainer Mike Moroney.

"He has had some practise the right handed way of going, so we don't think that will be an issue, and he will welcome sting out of the track if the rain comes. He's a good chance in a strong field."

Purchased at the Karaka Yearling Sales by appointed bloodstock consultant, Paul Moroney, Rhythm To Spare has accumulated just over $497,000 in prize money and will be hoping to break the half million barrier!

Onto Randwick and Ballymore’s second and final runner for the weekend is the well regarded Trendsetter who lines up in the R70 2000m Handicap over 2000m with apprentice jockey Jake Bayliss employed for riding duties.

“He looks well placed, and while he comes back off the back of a disappointing run, which we put down to the Moonee Valley track, he is ready to run a good race and gets in well at the weights with the 3kg claim.”

Lord Disick is the final runner on Sunday at Hawkesbury over 2000m and the team are confident of a bold showing.

"We are certain he is a better horse when racing right handed and he'll pretty hard to beat on the back of his form leading up to this race."
