One of our favourite lots at this year’s Inglis Premier sale, this strong and imposing colt by a dual Gr.1 winning son of Danehill really catches the eye.

An attractive grey, he is built very much in the mould of his sire Aussie Rules, a horse who proved his class in Europe and the United Stakes.

Winner of the Gr.1 French 2000 Guineas at Longchamp and the Gr.1 Shadwell Turf Mile at Keeneland, Aussie Rules boasts outstanding form at the mile – an excellent turn of foot suggesting that he has plenty going for him as a sire prospect.

This fellow is out of the stakes placed city winning Unbridled’s Song mare Unzipped, half sister to the tough Listed winner Strident.

This is a family of winners, Unzipped’s dam and grandam between them producing 13 winners.

Her dam, the imported Snow Harbor – also dam of the metropolitan winners El Tempestad, Royal Zao, Vindicate and Frozen, is a half sister to no less than four stakes winners – the French Gr.1 winner Silver Fling, German Gr.3 winner Imperial Fling, the UK Listed winner Silverdip and the US Listed winner Imperial Dilemma.

What a great international family this is – its members also including the Gr.1 winners Queen Empress, Jewel Princess and Irish Jay.
