Saturday is a busy day for Ballymore New Zealand with several very nice members of our team heading to the races.

In-form galloper Sinnfonia lines up over 2200m at Ellerslie tomorrow and she looks a top chance of continuing a winning streak.

"She has looked good winning her last couple," Chad Ormsby said, "and we are hoping to keep up her 100% strike rate for this preparation."

A stable favourite in Heat Blast meanwhile is having his first run for the summer and he has been pleasing us with his progress this time in.

"Jason Waddell rides and he has a very good strike rate riding for us," Ormsby said, adding that Heat Blast "has drawn well - and based on his work he should be a very good chance."

Also looking a definite hope is She's Samashing - so long as the track is not too wet.

"She is a classy filly who we hold in high regard," Ormsby said, adding that barrier one "should suit her."

"A very tough horse," The Hotz is another of our Ellerslie contenders and we are hoping that he can measure up to the New Zealand Derby.

"He is on the way up and hopefully, if the track does not get too bad, he will get a chance to have a look at Ellerslie before the Derby."

Kidwelly is another of our Ellerslie runners - owned by long time loyal stable supporters the Fletcher family.

"She should run a very strong race," Ormsby said - adding that her chances, like most of our runners, hinge on the weather conditions which hopefully will improve!
