He has only seven rivals but they are worthy ones, Bancory Bay (pictured, photo courtesy of Racing Photos) being sent out at nice double figure odds in the fourth race, the Allan Wicks BM70, on The Heath track at Caulfield today.

"It is a pretty even sort of race and you could make a case for most of them," Michael Moroney said.

Several of them however are lightly raced whilst "the thing about our horse he is well practiced and he does thing right."

"From that draw (six) I expect him to be midfield," Michael continued, noting that there seems to be some pace in the race... "it is a track on which they tend to run along - I don't think it is a front runner's track."

"He is fit and well, we are dropping him back in distance as he didn't quite see out the 2040m last time. He is a really good each-way chance in an interesting race."

The in-form Beau Mertens takes the ride whilst another jockey going well, Daniel Stackhouse.

"The trick is the draw (7 of 8), normally we'd go back and take a bit of sit and make a run and that would be the preferred way to ride her but if she does fly the gate and nothing else wants to go forward I will leave it to Daniel as there does not look to be a lot of speed on."

"The heavy ground was the glitch last start but she is going well and this is a nice race for her, just a pity she has not drawn a bit better but on form I think she can win it."
