THREE IN THE SAME RACE AT CAULFIELD

Buffalo River, Not An Option and Run Harry Run represent us in the same race on Caulfield Guineas day.

The Weekend Hussler Stakes is race five over 1400 metres with Billy Egan aboard Not An Option (pictured), Celine Gaudrey on Buffalo River and Daniel Stackhouse riding Run Harry RuN.

The weather forced Not An Option to miss his race last week at Flemington with the track downgrade however, co-trainer Glen Thompson reports there will no problems today.

“We’re very happy with him and he’s in good order,” Glen said. “He’s done really well this week.

“He’s drawn nicely which is important from this start and he should be able to settle just behind the speed.

“It’s a strong race but he’s in good order and we expect him to be competitive.

“Run Harry Run has thrived since his excellent first-up run and he heads to the race in good order.

“The draw suits and he too should be on speed. His work on Tuesday was terrific and as I say, he’s made noticeable improvement from his first-up run.

“It’s a strong race but we feel he is up to it and we expect him to prove hard to beat.

“Buffalo River has also taken good fitness from his last run and will present in good order today.

“From the low draw he should be on speed as usual and with the extra fitness he’s there to take some chasing down.

“It’s not ideal having three in the same race howver, it’s the right race for them and all three are in good order.”
