A TRIO AT SEYMOUR

Do I, Exzello and Myrtle Creek represent us at Seymour today.

Exzello is the first to go in the fifth race over 2027 metres with Zac Spain to ride and Mike Moroney adding a nose roll to the gear of the four-year-old.

“He needs to improve on his Australian form for sure,” Mike said.

"He's fitter and up in trip so he needs to show us something today, the track is currently listed as heavy and hopefully it will not be any be worse than that."

Myrtle Creek is in race seven over 1200 metres and also to be ridden by Zac Spain.

“She’s nice and fit and her last start was solid, fourth but only beaten a length and a quarter so a repeat of that should see her in this similar class with a chance,” Mike said.

“Being drawn in the middle should be ideal in a large field.

“The soft ground will not be a problem and as long as she gets some luck in running I’m expecting her to be thereabouts in what appears to be an even sort of race.”

Do I (pictured) rounds out the day in the ninth race over 1600 metres under Billy Egan.

“He’s up in trip today which should suit him,” Mike said. “He raced a bit keen and didn’t finish off last start over 1200 metres at Pakenham but I’m anticipating he will be better suited over a bit further today.

“He’s been up a while but is holding his condition well and I will not be at all surprised to see him turn things around today.”
