Bermadez and So You See represent us at Geelong on Good Friday with Bermadez starting a new campaign in the $500,000 Country Discovery.

The Country Discovery is race seven over 1100 metres with Patrick Moloney aboard Bermadez (pictured) and drawn barrier six after scratchings.

“He’s had a nice long break and come back well,” Mike said. “This is not his best trip and he’s fresh up but it’s a good kick-off point and worth a lot of money.

“Jigsaw coming out changes the complexion of it but I can see him settling just off the speed and then able to finish off.

“He’s still pretty burly and he’s against some sharp horses at their best trip but he’s ready to go and if we did happen to get the forecast rain it should not inconvenience him.

So You See runs in the race before, the $150,000 Country Oaks over 2200 metres with Jye McNeil to ride.

“We landed on this race but the one problem we have is the weather,” Mike said. “We accepted for Saturday as well so if we did get a lot of rain and the track deteriorated then we have a Plan B,” Mike said.

“She’s fine in herself and today is the right race for her and it looks a race she is more than capable of winning.

“The track is the key but if it stays in the soft range then I do think she is a winning chance.”
