THURSDAY NIGHT RUNNERS FOR US

Three Thursday runners for us at Pakenham tonight including Credible Analyses and Connecticut in the same race.

Credible Analyses and Lottaroc both commence new campaigns in the fifth race over 1400 metres with Fred Kersley riding Credible Analyses and Blaike McDougall aboard Connecticut.

Credible Analyses finished runner-up on debut at Geelong last July and was then far from disgraced in the VOBIS Gold Ingot at Caulfield.

“We’ve given him time. He’s a Highland Reel and we’re optimistic he will make a stayer in time,” Mike said.

“He’s going into tonight without a jumpout but he’s pleased me in his trackwork and the Pakenham track should suit him.

“I will be pleased to see him run through the line and give me an idea of how he has progressed.

Mike has made some gear changes on Connecticut for tonight.

“He raced in a cross-over nose band and with a tongue tie for his only start but I’ve taken them off for tonight,” Mike said.

“He has shown us nice ability at home and he’s come back in a stronger horse this time so it will be interesting to see how he fares tonight.”

Lottaroc is our other runner the eighth race over 1600 metres with Danial Stackhouse in the saddle.

“He’s in good order and was nice and sharp in his final gallop on Tuesday,” Mike said.

“He’s improved for the first-up run, has drawn nicely in two and with ordinary luck I’m expecting him to run well in what looks an evenly matched race.”
