BIG WATCH ON OUR FRIDAY RUNNERS

Runners at Kilmore and Pakenham tonight for us on Wednesday with Big Watch the first to go during the day at Kilmore.

Big Watch runs in the second race over 1200 metres with Jamie Mott aboard and Mike Moroney is expecting a bold showing.

“He’s nice and fit after two runs this preparation and I thought his last start second at Pakenham was full of merit,” Mike said.

“I’m happy with him, he’s trained on well and pleased me in piece of work on Tuesdsay.

“He’s drawn barrier one and I’d be expecting him to race on speed and I will be disappointed if he can’t break through today.

Amoramio (pictured) is the first to go tonight in the third race at Pakenham for fillies and mares over 1000 metres with Fred Kersley aboard.

“She loomed up around the bend last start at Ballarat on her Australian debut and then just blew up the last 200 metres,” Mike said.

“She’s come on for that and has drawn nicely in barrier four tonight in what looks a handy enough race for this class.

“She’s drawn nicely in four and with ordinary luck in running I can see her in the finish.”

Remix runs in race four over 2000 metres under Jamie Mott and he is overdue a win following three placings from his four starts this preparation.

“He’s racing consistently and ran well again at Sale last start finishing third,” Mike said. “He’s struck a tough race but it’s that time of year and I wanted to run him on these big tracks.

“He’s up in distance tonight and he’s always shaped as if it will suit him so we will find out tonight.

“He looks terrific and is nice and fit so I’m sure he will give a good sight.”
