THREE WINNING CHANCES TODAY ON THE HILLSIDE COURSE

So You See, Tasman Park and Traduce are our representatives on the Hillside course at Sandown today.

So You See (pictured) is the first to go in the fourth race over 1600 metres and Mike Moroney is expecting a bold showing from the daughter of So You Think.

“i thought she would run a bit better than she did last start at Sandown after an excellent first-up but she has pleased me greatly since and I’m very happy with her,” Mike said.

“I don’t think barrier one will be too much of an issue, Jamie knows her and if anything he should be able to take advantage of it and be a bit closer.

“She looks well placed in this fillies and mares grade today, the trip suits and I do expect her to run well.”

Tasman Park puts his unbeaten record on the line in race seven over 1800 metres with the assistance of Hannah Edgley’s claim.

“He’s done a terrific job this preparation and although he has been up a while this looked a nice race for him,” Mike said.

“He gets the benefit of Hannah’s claim which brings him in half a kilo less than he carried winning in the same grade last start.

“I’m happy with him, he’s worked well since his last start and has not shown me yet that he’s at the end of the preparation so all things being equal I’m sure he will prove hard to beat.”

Traduce rounds out our day in race eight with Damien Oliver in the saddle after a fast finishing sixth last start here at Sandown on the Lakeside course.

“Very happy with him and he’s done particularly well since running here on the Lakeside course before Christmas,” Mike said.

“He’s shaping as if the trip will suit, he’s drawn wide but to offset that he has Damien aboard and today’s race does look a nice opportunity for him to get off the mark for us.”
