1:00 p.m. R2 6 Time to Wonder (4 g Tarzino – Wonderworld, by More Than Ready) – Cameron Lammas; worked home okay from rear in the $14,000 Maiden 1600 metres on 7 December at Hastings, and contests the corresponding event. Expect him attempting to position handier. Fixed odds: $26.00 & $6.00.

1:00 p.m. R2 7 Phantom Dragon (3 c Highland Reel – Suziesaurus, by So You Think) – Jake Bayliss; fought well for sixth after leading mid-straight on debut in the Maiden 3YO 1400 metres on 7 December at Hastings, and contests the $14,000 Maiden 1600 metres. He receives opportunity to improve further on home track. Fixed odds: $7.50 & $2.50.

1:37 p.m. R3 14 Vintage Bardot (3 f Tarzino – Cold Shoulder, by Volksraad) – Cameron Lammas; was blocked late when sixth on debut in the Maiden 1200 metres on 14 December at Ruakaka, and contests the $14,000 Maiden 1400 metres. She is ideally drawn (5) to prove competitive. Fixed odds: $10.00 & $3.30.

2:12 p.m. R4 8 Hot Chilli Mama (2 f U S Navy Flag – Accidentallyinlove, by Cape Cross) – Cameron Lammas; found plenty to dead-heat for first in trial on 6 December at Waipa, and debuts in the $14,000 2YO 1000 metres. 3:22 p.m. R6 11 Catherinenz (3 f Shamexpress – Grey Sapphire, by Guillotine) – Jasmine Fawcett; finished back after leading on debut in the Maiden 1050 metres here on 23 December, and contests the $14,000 Maiden Fillies & Mares 1100 metres. She receives chance to improve. Fixed odds: $31.00 & $6.00.

3:57 p.m. R7 1 Order to Charge (3 g War Decree – Colonel’s Daughter, by Hinchinbrook) – Cameron Lammas; raced handily before finishing third in the Maiden 3YO 1200 metres here on 23 December, and contests the corresponding event. He continues to race well and placed two of four course attempts. Fixed odds: $7.50 & $2.70.

5:47 p.m. R10 6 Iridessa (7 m Eurozone – Zennita, by Commands) – Cameron Lammas; found line for fifth when resuming in the Rating 60 1400 metres on 28 December at Rotorua, and contests the $14,000 Rating 60 1600 metres. Course/distance Maiden winner, she requires luck from wide draw (13). Fixed odds: $11.00 & $3.50.

Co-trainer Pam Gerard said: “Rhodesian resumes over a mile, which he needs and will then step him up in distance.”

“Time To Wonder has had two races now, but pretty one-paced and we will try and ride him handier.”

“Phantom Dragon steps up to a mile at his second start and teaching him to get over a trip. We will look to find cover. Still learning, but working well and we expect a solid effort.”

“Vintage Bardot had no luck late when debuting at Ruakaka, and steps up to 1400 metres. She has worked up very well and a competitive filly.”

“Hot Chilli Mama debuts in the 2YO 1000 metres and unfortunately drew the outside gate (10). It is a learning curve and we are looking for her to have a good first-up experience.”

“Catherinenz has a slight foot niggle, but happy enough for her to race. Fitter for her debut run and we are looking for an improved performance.”

“Order To Charge will be looking for a good smother, and he is bright and well.”

“Iridessa came through her run nicely from last week at Rotorua, and she has eaten up since. We will look to roll forward, as she did win winning a Maiden 1600 metres here.”
