Co-trainer Pam Gerard said: “Chancellor seems to get through heavy ground okay in track work, but there has been a lot of rain and track very deep and loose. We have been happy with his work. It will be a long 1600 metres.”

“Glitzabella makes her debut on very testing ground, but home track and just having race experience before heading out for spell. She is doing everything she should be, working well, but big question mark on handling ground.”

“Alpino worked well on wet, loose, ground which she strikes today. We think she can run a bold race if able to replicate work at race pace.”

“Toffee strikes very wet ground and all depends on whether or not she can handle it. She is fit and looks in good condition.”

“Aurora Dolce is striking near bottomless conditions, like a swamp, which could prove beyond her capabilities. In her favour, she has handled some types of wet ground, flying in her work, bright and well, and wants to be out there. Hopefully she can run a cheeky race.” Pictured
