NEW HAMPSHIRE DEBUTS AT CAULFIELD

A trio of Saturday runners including the debut of New Hampshire in the Chairman’s Stakes at Caulfield.

New Hampshire (pictured) is by I Am Invincible and a half-brother to ATC Derby winner Levendi and Mike Moroney says he has the ability to match his good looks.

“Jordan Childs is riding now with Mark Zahra being suspended and we are very happy with our horse.” Mike said.

“He’s a lovely horse and he’s got ability - it’s just a pity today he’s drawn the outside.

“He’s potentially a very nice horse, he’s been professional throughout and I’ll leave it up to Jordan from the barrier - if he flies the gates then we might slide forward and see what he’s got in what is shaping as a very interesting race for two-year-olds.”

Let’s Say Grace makes her Australian debut in race one at Caulfield over with Jye McNeil now taking the ride.

“She was impressive winning on debut in December and the form has worked out well.

“Her jumpout here at Flemington was solid and she’s pleased me since.

“She’s still working things out but she’s talented. Today is obviously a step up in class, especially at her second start and I’m thinking the trip will be short enough for her.

“The small field might mean it’s slowly run which might not be suitable but if we get a truly run race then I do expect her to be finishing strongly.”

Arctic Stone runs in race three at Kyneton over 1450 metres with Michael Poy aboard and jumping from barrier one.

“She looks terrific and is nice and fit after two runs and her last start when third at Yarra Valley was encouraging,” Mike said.

“This looks a nice race for her and she’s done particularly well since her last start.

“There looks like there will still be a little bit of give in the track today which will suit her.

“If she can use the barrier to advantage I do think she can run well and prove hard to beat.
