“Istina has finally got a start and she has drawn well (1). We probably would have preferred to see more give in the ground and she is bred to go further. She has blinkers on.”

“Ostasio steps up to a mile on better footing. He has drawn well (5) and Ryan Elliot, who won on him when debuting two starts ago, takes the ride. He is well and we are happy with him.”

“Grip makes his debut from barrier two and expected to be midfield. He has plenty of ability, although meeting a few smart ones too. It is a good starting point on his home track and leading rider aboard.” Pictured as yearling

“The Green Dragon finished second here over 1400 metres fresh-up and he likes his home track. 1400 metres again and we expect him to go well.”

“Bubalina was short of room in the straight on debut and she looks good for her second start. We are happy with her and she receives weight relief to 53.5kgs.”

“Marmellos steps up to 1400 metres with blinkers on. She has done plenty of work and seems to be thriving. She has worked well and hopefully we can see her knuckle down and perform.”

“La Favorita steps up to 2000 metres and she should appreciate Dead5 footing. She is pretty fit, but drew wide (14) and needs luck.
