CRANBOURNE RUNNERS ON FRIDAY NIGHT

Three runners for us tonight under lights on Friday as Green Delight, Time To Dazzle and Shilo Lass head to Cranbourne.

Green Delight is the first to go in race one, the 3YO Maiden over 1400m with Jordan Childs in the saddle.

Mike Moroney has added ear muffs and a norton bit to her gear to try and get Green Delight to relax in her races.

“Ideally the track will have dried out for her and she has the nice draw to help her,” Moroney said.

“She’ll be better over further but with the time between runs we’ve kept her to 1400m.

“They look an even bunch and the main thing for her that I’ll be looking for is to see her relax and then be running on then I’ll be happy.”

Time To Dazzle is in the third race, the Fillies and Mares Maiden Plate over 1600m with Jordan Childs riding.

“We’re happy with her and I thought she was quite solid last start finishing third after leading,” Moroney said.

“She’s kept on improving and gets fitter and fitter.

“It’s an even sort of race but I think with he improvement she has made she’s a good chance tonight.”

Shilo Lass (pictured) runs in race seven, the Benchmark 64 Handicap over 1000m with Michael Dee to ride.

“We’ve left her in working on the basis the track will have improved, we’re thinking it was the rain affected ground behind her disappointing effort last start at Sale,” Moroney said.

“We’ve taken the crossover off her and with the track improving if she brings her best than I’d be expecting her to go close.”
