Shilo Lass and Miss Hayworth are our runners at Sale on Tuesday.

Miss Hayworth is the first to go in race two, the 3YO Fillies Maiden over 1006m with Jake Noonan in the saddle.

It is the first start this preparation for the daughter of Dalakhani which placed in her two starts to date and has pleased Mike Moroney ahead of today’s race.

“She showed ability in her two starts last year and we’ve given her a bit of time to strengthen up,” Moroney said.

“She trialled up nicely in her jumpout here and although she’s only had one of those she’s forward enough to be racing today.

“This doesn’t look the strongest of races on exposed form, hard to know obviously with the unraced horses but our filly is going nicely at home and I’m expecting her to run well.”

Shilo Lass (pictured) runs in race seven, the benchmark 64 handicap over 1006m with Jye McNeil to ride from the outside barrier.

“We’re keeping an eye on how the track is racing but I’d say we’ll have to go back from the barrier, which is not ideal but letting her balance up would have been the plan anyway,” Moroney said.

“She’s possibly been a little disappointing at her last two starts, even though she has finished fourth. Her debut win was extremely promising but her last two starts have been in city class and she’s back in grade today.

“I’m very happy with her condition and provided the track is allowing horses to make ground then I think she is the one they all have to beat.”
