WE'RE LIVING DANGEROUSLY ON WEDNESDAY

We head to Sale with two runners on Wednesday.

Living Dangerously is the first to go in race four, the 3YO Maiden Plate over 1411m with Linda Meech to ride and jumping from barrier 10 after scratchings.

The daughter of Wanted has been a work in progress and showed improved form last time out when finishing third at Cranbourne over 1400m.

Mike Moroney has added some gear to help Living Dangerously.

“She’s drawn out a little bit but I don’t really see that as a disadvantage, especially at this time of year,” Moroney said.

“If she did fly the gates we’ll let her roll forward as she did last time.

“We’ve added a bubble cheeker to her as she did hang out a bit which cost her last time - she’s trained in it and accepted it so she comes into the race today in good order

“it’s a handy enough race with a bit of form in it but a repeat of her last start should see her in the finish.”

Walton Hall (pictured) is our other runner in race five, the Maiden Plate over 1611, with Michael Dee in the saddle and drawn barrier one.

It is the second start this preparation for the son of Ad Valorem which made up a lot of ground in the home straight when finishing fifth over 1400m at Bendigo first-up.

“He looks great and has really come on for his first start,” Moroney said. “That said he’s come into a strong looking maiden with a bit of form in it.

“From the barrier he should be able to position himself handier than he did first-up without getting too aggressive.

“He’s really well and I’m expecting him to run well.”
