TWO WINNING CHANCES AT SEYMOUR ON THURSDAY

Bill The Bee and Gottaluvtrucks are our representatives at Seymour on Thursday following the excellent win of Mirimar at Sandown.

Gottaluvtrucks is the first to go in race three, the 3YO Maiden Plate over 1600m with Jordan Childs to ride from barrier eight after scratchings.

The son of Camelot is ready to win after solid placings at his last two starts and Mike Moroney is expecting the step up in trip will suit.

“His last piece of work in blinkers was excellent so we’ve kept them on him for today,” Moroney said.

“He’s a horse that has always shown us ability and I’m surprised he’s still a maiden.

“If he begins and we can get across than I do think today can be his day.”

Bill The Bee (pictured) is in race four and he too is stepping up in trip in the Benchmark64 Handicap over 2027m with Billy Egan riding from barrier six.

The son of So You Think finished third behind Zoutori over 1600m at Caulfield last time out on May 11.

“The one question with him is the step up in trip,” Moroney said. “Our horse is consistent but this looks a handy enough race.

“His work has been good and he’s in good order so - all the riders say he’ll be better once he gets to 2000m so he gets his chance here.”
