She did nothing wrong in two prior starts as a two-year-old, finishing second on debut and fourth to Karaka Million winner and Champion Two-Year-Old Avantage (Fastnet Rock). 1.19 p.m. R2 15 Iridessa (3 f Eurozone – Zennita, by Commands) – Shaun McKay; never improved as expected at her third start back from a spell in the NZB Insurance Pearl Series Maiden 1600 metres on 13 November at Te Aroha. Drawn barrier five in the $10,000 Maiden 3YO 1600 metres, give in the ground could assist her letting down. Fixed odds: $81.00 & $11.00.

1.54 p.m. R3 12 Livvy Lass (4 m Reliable Man – Stellar Doro, by Faltaat) – Shaun McKay; had both starts on the course for two fourths over 1400 metres: firstly, to subsequent impressive winner Rhinestone Cowboy (Teofilo) and overcoming an awkward start and shifting saddle here on 10 November. Ideally drawn (5) in the $10,000 Maiden 1600 metres, she rates an each way chance provided an appreciation of track conditions. Fixed odds: $4.80 & $1.80.

4.49 p.m. R8 13 Pinmedown (3 f Pins – Alleyway, by Oregon) – Shaun McKay; spelled in June after a solitary outing in Maiden 2YO 1200 metres at Ruakaka, where, in a very good form race she ran home in the fastest last 600m (34.8) for fifth. From the family of Ambitious Dragon (twice Hong Kong Horse of the Year), she trialled well for second on 1 November at Te Aroha, and although still improving in the coat her ability could see a competitive first up performance in the $10,000 Maiden Fillies & Mares 1400 metres.
