BUGLE CALL RESUMES ON SUNDAY

Two runners for the team on Sunday with Bugle Call and Mojestic in the same race at Bendigo.

Both are in the fifth race, the Benchmark 64 Handicap over 1600m with Jordan Grob claiming on Bugle Call and Chris Symons to ride Mojestic.

Mojestic was scratched from races on Friday and Mike Moroney says has struck a solid field here.

“It does look a pretty handy race with some solid form in it,” Moroney said.

“Mojestic has had the two runs back now and she’s fit enough to be in the finish. The draw is not in her favour again but the race suits so she will take her chance.

“She’s a mare we think has a future over a bit of a trip so we’re expecting her to be competitive in what does look a solid race.”

Bugle Call (pictured) is resuming having not raced since July and Moroney is expecting the son of Tavistock to be better over further.

“He’s coming along nicely and his work on Tuesday was pleasing,” Moroney said.

“He needs to get going, Bendigo will suit him and the run will improve him.

“That said it will not surprise me to see him running on late as we aim to get him out over further.”
