Group race runners for Ballymore Stables with imports on Derby day at Flemington.

Radipole runs in the Group I Kennedy Mile while Mike Moroney has made a call on whether Vengeur Masque runs in the Lexus Stakes.

The five-year-old Radipole was only narrowly beaten at his last start in the Seymour Cup after being forced to race wide most of the way.

“We’re really looking forward to Radipole running,” Moroney said.

“There does not look a huge amount of speed in the race so we will likely press forward and put him into the race.

"His best French form was when he raced close to the speed and the race on Saturday looks like he could race that way.

“His work has been good and I’m very happy with him - he’s taken good improvement from his last start.

“We think he’s a good lightweight chance in what looks an even sort of race.”

Vengeur Masque (pictured) is on the cusp of making the Melbourne Cup field after his excellent win in the Geelong Cup (Gr 3) last start and Moroney would like to take chance out of the equation.

“We have got into 26 in order for the Melbourne Cup and after examining all the pros and cons we have decided we should run,” Moroney said.

“There’s a chance the winner of the race could go above us in the order so we think our best chance is to run.

“He’s come through his last run well and is nice and fit. He got the big tick of approval from Patrick after his work on the course proper Tuesday and I think he’s a good winning chance.”
