WEEKEND DOUBLE!

Long time stable clients Rupert & Cheryl Legh’s colours victoriously sailed across the line to register a weekend double at Caulfield and Geelong.

Under the guidance of Jake Bayliss at Caulfield, Rhythm To Spare (7yo g Pins x Stanica) (pictured) returned to his best form when taking out the Treasury Wine Estates Handicap (1600m) in impressive fashion rewarding trainer Mike Moroney’s faith.

“He is looking terrific and we think he’s racing as good as what he ever has. At this stage, a likely target will be the Group 3 R A Lee Stakes (1600m) at Morphettville, a race he has previously won” said Moroney.

The son of Pins was selected by Ballymore’s appointed bloodstock agent Paul Moroney from the Pencarrow Stud draft at NZB’S 2011 Premier Yearling Sale.

Moroney said “She is a smart improving stayer and we take a lot of positives out of today’s win. We will see how she pulls up and make a plan from there”.

This daughter of Smart Missile was another Paul Moroney Bloodstock selection from the Newhaven Park draft at the 2015 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
