THREE TRACKS, THREE RUNNERS

Kicking off today’s programme is Bouwmeester (Pictured - Ocean Park x Happy Forever) who heads to Wangaratta where he lines up in the A1 Tyrepower Wangaratta 2YO Maiden Plate event over 1100m. Patrick Moloney takes the ride jumping from barrier 3.

This colt was a ‘must-buy' for Mike Moroney being the grandson of Happyanunoit - who was bestowed the ‘first freak I've trained’ award from Moroney very early in her illustrious international career.

The field does include a bunch of first starters so it is tough to get a line on them – but what we do know is that this galloper is very fast, has trialled superbly and is in excellent order. Unless he meets some very smart horse in this field, we expect him to be a top winning chance.

We then head over to Gosford where following yesterday’s postponement, Tribal Wisdom once again gets to take his place in the Gosford Guineas 3yo Listed Plate. Jumping from barrier 2, Christian Reith takes the ride over 1200m.

The rain which caused the postponement yesterday has further softened the ground which should suit this son of Makfi. He does have fantastic gate speed and from the jump, should get a lovely trip. This is a rise in class and a drop back in distance but he’s feeling fresh and we have great confidence in his ability. If he brings his A-game for the occasion, a win would certainly come as no surprise.

Last but not least on Friday’s programme is Lilymorn who starts tonight at Cranbourne in the Victorian Statewide Conveyancing Maiden Plate over 1500m with Patrick Moloney aboard. She presents fit, race-ready and in great order. The key for this daughter of Rip Van Winkle is relaxing in the running; she over-raced in her last start and did a fantastic job to hold on for second all things considered.

She does meet some form in this field but we are confident that once she puts it all together she’ll break her maiden and go on with it. Hopefully, tonight’s the night!
