Sororia to Continue Winning Ways

The further into her preparation she gets, the more she improves. Lightly tried Iffraaj filly, Sororia (pictured), will be hoping to make it her third win from her last four starts when she lines up at Tauranga on Wednesday in either the Rating 65 event over 1600m or 2170m.

Sororia was last seen at her local track winning stylishly in the hands of regular rider Danielle Johnson back in late August, and her co-trainer Chad Ormsby is very pleased with the progress she has made since.

“She just keeps improving and while she has been performing well this season, I can’t wait for next season when she is fully matured and developed,” Ormsby said.

“We are in no rush to step her up in trip, although we have double accepted and the weather and track conditions will determine what race we go to.”

Sororia has proven to be a model of consistency recording two wins and two second placings from only seven race day starts to date.

The other runner entered for Tauranga is the highly promising sprinter Flavigny, although the significant amount of rain received will likely prevent her from taking her position in the field.
