Japan-bred and raced Staphanos is one of the most highly international rated stallions to stand in Australasia and the son of Deep Impact has been well accepted with his first crop of yearlings from his New Zealand base.
We found this powerful colt in Book 2 at Karaka and felt the mix with his deep international family had produced an ideal type to hit the tracks running and we will not be surprised to see him winning at 2.
